Painted Gourd

This collection contains hand painted gourds. Each gourd is carefully cleaned to remove outer layer of skin. A design is then drawn onto the gourd & outlined to make more visible with details using a wood burning tool. The next step is to add color to the drawn design using alcohol inks. The gourd is lastly buffed with a thin layer of wax to help give the piece a bit of shine and add a protective coat. You will love your piece of signed art to enjoy or to give as a gift.
